A Squash and a Squeeze’ paperback book + 3WL prepositions activity + 4 miniature farm animals with 4WL activity + story sequencing with baseboard + WH questions activity.
The 3WL activity uses velcro’d pictures of each character plus cupboard and table (A5 size), and works on prepositions behind/in front e.g. put the cow behind the cupboard. There are 20 picture instructions.
The 4WL activity uses miniature animals (goat, chicken, cow, pig) with place cards of outside/the grass and inside/the rug (A6 size) and works on subject-verb-object-place e.g. the hen is chasing the cow outside. There are 16 picture instructions.
The story sequencing activity has 12 separate pictures and a flexible baseboard labelled first/next/last. There are 12 boxes on the baseboard to place each picture, or you can use a reduced number as shown in the images. The pictures measure approx 10.5cm x 10 cm.
The WH questions activity includes a baseboard for a story sequencing picture (optional) with boxes for the questions to be placed as appropriate. There are 8 Who? Questions, 5 Where questions and 3 Why questions, all with answers, and all using the colour coding from colourful semantics. There are also 3 pairs of blank cards that are colour-coded so you can write in your own who/where/why Question and/or answer.
All the activities and the book fit into an A4 zipped bag, labelled with a brown parcel tag, and are accompanied by an A4 page of advice as to how to use the resources.
