BALL, CAR, CUP, SHOE, TEDDY; BAG, BASKET; BIG, LITTLE; IN, ON, UNDER
There are 10 brand new toys: a big and little teddy, ball, car, cup and shoe. NB: the colours and brands of the objects vary. These toys, together with a toy basket and tote bag, fit into an A4 zipped bag labelled with a brown parcel tag.
The fabric tote bag is a party bag and measures approximately 14cm x 14cm, not including the handle.
The sturdy plastic square basket measures approximately 14cm long x 14cm wide x 7cm high.
All the toys comply with EU/UK regulations (i.e. have a CE or UKCA label).
There are 3 Lotto boards (A4 size, backed with coloured card) each with 4 pictures of the toys. NB these are not photos of the actual objects, and colours do not match.)
These are used to match the toys to the pictures used for the picture instructions. Each Lotto board has a matching set of picture instructions to introduce this activity.
There are 72 picture instructions in all, helping children to understand and use the words BIG and LITTLE in phrases up to the 4 word level in the following types of instructions:
Put the BIG TEDDY ON the BAG, put the LITTLE TEDDY UNDER the BASKET, put the LITTLE CAR IN the BAG,
give the BIG CUP to the LITTLE TEDDY, give the LITTLE CAR to the BIG TEDDY, etc.
All the picture resources, together with an advice sheet, fit into an A4 popper bag, labelled with a brown parcel tag.
Highly recommended for children with delayed language, children with autism, and children learning English.
