“Find the Duck” Usborne board book + picture symbols + lotto boards + tips to help your child understand and use more words related to bath time.
PLEASE NOTE: The Board Book is USED but in very good condition, and has 12 pages featuring a rubber duck hiding in different places in the bathroom.
The single pictures are of a spider, a duck, a frog and a boat, all laminated in non-reflective Matt plastic and attached to a baseboard strip with Velcro dots, that are compatible with PECS products (Picture Exchange Communication System).
There are 3 place boards, approximately A6 size, of a toilet, a sink and a bath, laminated in non-reflective Matt plastic and backed with card for durability.
There is a pack of 12 photo instruction cards, measuring 3.5” x 2.5”, featuring each of the objects in each of the places (e.g. the spider in the sink, the frog in the bath), laminated in non-reflective Matt plastic and held together with an elastic band.
There are 2 lotto boards named ‘What do you do with it?’ and featuring objects you find in the bathroom, with 12 matching action pictures.
The resources are designed to help children understand use language at the 1 word level (where’s the DUCK?, who’s in the BATH?) and the 2 word level (put the DUCK in the BATH, show me the BOY DRYING himself).
All the picture resources and the advice sheet come in an A4 popper bag, labelled with a brown parcel tag, for convenience and durability.
This resource extends the language-boosting potential of a well-loved book, with picture games that work well for children with delayed language, for children with autism, and for children learning English as an additional language.
