The book is a brand new Lift the Flap board book and has 12 pages and 6 flaps featuring clothes hidden around the house with rhyming text.
The rhyming lotto has 2 baseboards (approximately A5 size) and 12 pictures that rhyme and relate closely to the book, all laminated in non-reflective Matt plastic.
The picture cards are of pyjamas, pants, socks and jeans, laminated in non-reflective Matt plastic and attached to a baseboard with Velcro dots, that are compatible with PECS products (Picture Exchange Communication System).
There are 3 place boards, approximately A5 in size, of a washing machine, a washing line, and a chest of drawers, laminated and backed with card for extra durability.
There is a pack of 12 picture instruction cards, approximately A6 in size, featuring each of the clothes in each of the places (e.g. the pants in the drawer, the jeans in the washing machine), laminated in non-reflective Matt plastic and held together with an elastic band.
The resources are designed to help children understand use language at the 1 word level (where are the SOCKS?) and the 2 word level (put the SOCKS in the DRAWER; WASH the PYJAMAS).
Finally there is an advice sheet, laminated in non-reflective Matt plastic, with tips for using the resources to boost your child’s speech and language.
