Sea-life puzzle + photo symbols and I want strip + Picture cards and instructions + Tips for use. These resources help your child learn to use and understand the following words at the 1 word level, 2 word level and 3 word level:

The puzzle is a brand new wooden inset puzzle and features a dolphin, an octopus, a shark and a whale. NB the puzzle is small, measuring 4” by 5.5”.
There are 4 photo symbols attached to a base board with Velcro dots, compatible with other PECS products (Picture Exchange Communication System). These are designed to help your child make clear choices and learn words for animals. They come with an ‘I want..’ strip to extend requests from single words to sentences.
The pictures are related to the puzzle pieces: a big and little dolphin, octopus, shark and whale; there is a location card of a boat with Velcro dots indicating the positions ON and UNDER and 16 instruction cards showing each of the animals in each location. These are used to help your child listen to and then give instructions up to the 3 word level as follows: ‘put the BIG SHARK ON the boat’, ‘ the LITTLE OCTOPUS is UNDER the boat’.
The tips for use are on an A5 sheet. This resource has been developed for use with children with delayed language, children with autism, and children learning English as an additional language.
All picture resources are laminated using non-reflective Matt plastic.
The puzzle and all the picture resources fit into an A5 zipped bag, labelled with a brown parcel tag, for a pack that is easy to carry and store.
