Zog’ Paperback Book + Story Sequencing Pictures with Matching Why?/How? Question cards + Why?/How? Definition cards + baseboard + 2 small dragon counters + dice + tips.
This is a pack of picture card activities linked to the ‘Zog’ story to support children with story sequencing and answering a range of ‘Why?” And ‘How?’ Questions.
Why? And How? Questions are a frequent part of school language and of everyday conversation, and regular structured support will benefit a range of children who find these difficult.
There are 16 story sequencing pictures - approximately 1 per double page of the book. There are 16 matching question cards, with 3 questions on each, 1-2 Why? Questions and 1-2 How? Questions.
These question cards have simple prompts to give children to help them answer the questions, and are used together with the definition cards which have some example questions on each.
2 dragon counters and a dice are included for use as a ‘snakes and ladders’ type game where counters can continue to move only if the answers on the corresponding card are answered correctly. This game can be played with an adult or another child.
Plus comprehensive Why? And How? Questions picture activities pack.
